Jacob Miller

Co-founder and CEO

jacob@footprintapp.org

U.G., Environmental Science

From an early age, Jacob felt a deep connection to nature and found himself engrossed in her beauty, wonder, and endless avenues of exploration. This connection later turned into a grave concern over how the planet is responding to manmade climate change, which led him to study Environmental Science at Lee College, where he gained a deeper knowledge of the earth's ecosystems and human impacts. Harnessed with a seed from his science background, Jacob moved into practicing business development and information technology where he led sustainable innovation partnerships with companies like the National Science Foundation. His experience in marketing and public relations has been critical to understanding today’s green market and identifying how to amplify the voices of local and international companies that are committed to reducing their carbon footprint and working toward more sustainable products and services.
